The PDF provided is well beyond my meager mind to fully compre- hend, and it isn’t about UFOs or anything related.

But it is an example of how a brilliant mind can take a topic – in this instance “the work of a contemporary post-avant-garde poet” as the paper’s introduction indicates -- and provide an analysis that offers a scholarly exegesis that certainly eludes the common mind but shows how an academic explication can bring a subject to intellectual life:

“This dissertation engages the work of contemporary post-avant-garde poet and critical theorist Bruce Andrews and brings to bear a decidedly post-Marxist framework on one of the most rigorously politicized and prolific bodies of North American avant-garde poetry and performance to have emerged from and since the Language Poetry of the 1970s and 1980s.”

Use Dennis Buescher’s approach for any study of a UFO report or sighting and you’ll have something worthwhile when you’re finished, something not flimsy or worthless but an examination that provides substance of a useful and truly scholarly kind.
