ET dictators?

The December 23, 2019 New Yorker has a piece
by Adam Gopnik – Tyrant Chic – about the charac- teristics (essential
ele- ments) of recent (20th Century) dictators. [Page 84 ff.]
It’s an interesting article, as is usual with Mr. Gopnik,
and it made me think about something related that shows up in UFO encounters,
par- ticularly abduction sce- narios.
The essay opens with this: “Dictatorship has, in one sense,
been the default condition of humanity … even the most collegial department
musty have a chairman: a capo di tutti capi” [a boss of all bosses].
Many UFO accounts where humanoids are involved, especially
in so-called abduction cases, the witnesses perceive what seems to be a leader,
an entity that stands apart or more significant that others.
This perceived “leader” is either taller, has a more emphatic appearance, or is wearing clothing (usually uniform-like apparel) that
is more striking than that worn by others involved in the mise en scène;
often this standout entity seems to be controlling the encounter or procedure.
Even in events where the entities appear to be robots or
robot-like there is a roboto di tutti roboti.
All this poses a problem for me. That is, if UFOs are alien
craft and the species operating them come from a supposed advanced
civilization, how is it that they seem organized in a way that resembles
Earthian behavior: leadership that smacks of a boss of bosses, a kind of
dictatorship.
The advanced species function like a dictatorship? Odd, yes?
Wouldn’t an advanced, intellectual species seem inclined to
have evolved within the Socratic/Platonic idea of freedom (democracy) or, at
least, Aristotle’s restrained model of freedom where every being is free,
living without anyone over them, atop their existence?
How could advanced beings, or even AI created entities, not
be inclined to adhere to ideas of freedom, or is dictatorship the default
position of all existence in the cosmos?
Dictatorship and dictators seem inevitable on Earth, this
planet, where vicissitudes have created or evolved from the concept of struggle
of the fittest, the Darwinian theorem of evolution.
But elsewhere?
Are the witnesses to leaders among the beings they think
they’ve encountered or captured them – Betty Hill’s account being a stark
example – a projection of the witness or a real observation?
Since I believe that the stories of UFO alien abductions are
matters of the mind, and not actual kidnappings, or that perceived encounters
are perhaps figments of José Caravaca’s “external agent,” the idea of leaders
amongst the batch of entities said to be involved either comes from the
mind-set of the witnesses or is emblematic of some kind of reality that
permeates the universe.
That is, dictatorships and/or leaders are thrust into the
confab- ulation of witnesses or “abducted” persons from within their own mind or
are part of a scenario pushed upon persons who relate the stories from a
reality that intrudes momentarily upon some humans.
Either way, the idea of someone of some things above others
in a status-oriented reality, whether concocted or an actual incident goes
against what seems to be the proper way such things should be: men (beings,
animals, living creatures, thinking or not) are intrinsically free.
To have leaders controlling others seems unlikely to be the
natural law of the cosmos:
