That Paul Kimball!

I’ve noted Paul’s 2012 book a few times here, finding it fraught with ideas, thinking, and reminiscences that some of us think are new with us but appear seven years or earlier with Paul.
I’ve noted Paul’s 2012 book a few times here, finding it fraught with ideas, thinking, and reminiscences that some of us think are new with us but appear seven years or earlier with Paul.
For example, I often write about time travel and have been pushing
the Reality is a Simulation lately, but in his book (pictured below), Chapter Five, A
Hazy Shade of Winter is this:
“As the late Carl Sagan … once stated, ‘There’s the
possibility that [time travelers are] here and we do see them, but we call them
something else – UFOs or ghosts or hobgoblins or fairies or something like
that.’
“Time travel could account for any number of the weird
aspects of UFO sightings, for example, or even other paranormal events such as
supposed ‘ghost’ encounters. In particular, time travel may provide an answer
to the big question: if there is an advanced non-human intelligence interacting
with us why doesn’t it do so more directly?” [Page 134]
And although I brought up, recently, the Marshall McLuhan
offering that a camera entering a room of people alters their behavior, Paul
wrote: “How much did my presence with a camera
documenting the event modify the event?” [Page 181]
Paul’s book shows why I’m one of his fanboys, despite having
about 30 years on him.
He’s polymathic when it comes to the paranormal and UFOs,
and lots of other things that impinge on our existence, mundane and profound
things.
If you want an enlightening read about the paranormal and
the underbelly and overbelly of the UFO community, get his book.
It’s only $10.99 from Amazon. (I don’t think you can best
that price.)
I’ll be providing more from the book but not enough that you
should avoid buying it.
It’s quite wonderful [sic].
