Where the heck is the “UFO message”?

Albert Rosales has published a raft of books, as you know from my mention of them often here, presenting scores (thousands) of odd encounters (reports) of strange humanoid beings, many from what are seen as craft of some kind.

The accounts Mr. Rosales accumulated begin in 1 A.D. and end in 2015, when he decided to wrap up his monumental effort(s).

(I have the bulk of his oeuvre -- Humanoid Encounters: The Others Amongst Us.)

I have my own collection of UFO books and magazines containing UFO sightings where beings have allegedly been seen, some even communicated with, supposedly.

I’ve presented material from this collection here many times, as you know.

Like my (in) vain pursuit of a known symbol similar to that drawn by Lonnie Zamora from his sighting of the Socorro egg-like craft, I have scoured the UFO/humanoid encounters for some kind of “message.”

If the humanoids (beings) who purportedly are sentient, rational, intelligent creatures, they would surely have left a sensible few words or communication that bespeak their arrival from another civilization, off planet, or from the future or past (time), or even from another dimension, a world abutting this one from outside our frame of existence.

But, in all the reports and accounts I’ve read, there is not one – not one – message or attempt at communication that makes sense or has the patina of sense.

You, reading here, don’t have to be reminded of the flaky and pathetic contacts that UFO witnesses have related coming from their meetings with off-world humanoids, most merely acting out bizarre pantomimic behavior.

Mr. Rosales has many examples of such behavior in his books:

“A … Mrs. H.C. Hutchinson, reported that she had received telepathic messages from the ‘Martians” … the “Elder Brothers’ [who] had come to Earth two millions years before to establish a colony … [that had as its] main concern [finding] women to make love with.” [Page 217, Humanoid Encounters … 1900-1929]

“… a little man [appeared] from behind one of the cows. He walked quickly and tapped one of the cows gently on the nose with a stick he was carrying.” [Page 218, ibid]

Michael Swords presents some encounters in his reforming book of some Center for UFO Studies, Grassroots UFOs (covered here earlier):
In 1988, a man in Tennessee “heard a loud knock on his door … he saw two very tall figures [and] asked them who they were [but] got no answer … He got his gun. Inquired again, nothing. H tried to shoot, but the gun wouldn’t work. He got a rifle; it wouldn’t work either. Finally, he asked what he could do for them … No answer, except one was now petting his passive dogs. Then two phrases: ‘We’re not here to harm you,’ and ‘we shall return.’ The beings … looked human except for a very wide mouth and long earlobes … When they left … they seemed to rise up rather than walk away.” [Page 101]

These are not atypical responses from humanoids or “other worldly” creatures observed or witnessed by what seems to be “normal” human beings (people).

I place the bulk of such reports or encounters in the hallucinatory category but that is a stretch itself: could so many people be having hallucinations and mental disturbances?

That would indicate a societal madness of great proportions, not outside the realm of possibility but an awful indictment of the human condition.

At any rate, aside from Jose Caravaca’s intrusive “external agent” – a neurological construct – or a mad manipulator of our existence – the Matrix master – or an insane god, playing with his creation, we are left with a residue of non-sensible communication(s) from the “others amongst us” as Albert Rosales so perceptively put it.”
