Ufology: Back to Square One?

Spewing invective about how UFO advocates are sidetracked,
and always have been, by peripheral aspects of UFO sightings has caused some
irkiness among some readers here. But I don’t care.
Ufologists have wasted much time and effort on nonsense
(noted in postings, below), and it continues apace.
Two pals of mine – and I luv them – Curt Collins and Claude
Falkstrom have provided a dopey UFO story that my buddy Bill Murphy has deigned
to link at The Anomalist’s site:
Normally I’d excoriate such silliness, but in the midst of
the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) hysteria, a dose of silliness is just what we need.
In my venue and social/work milieu, everyone – including
news media persons – are acting stupidly and hysterically. (You’d be surprised
at how silly some media folks are acting.)
So, a little levity, as provided by Curt, Claude, and Bill,
is okay with me, so long as it doesn’t become habitual, as such foolishness did
back in 1947 and the 1950s.
