I’m not incapacitated although….
I think a few wish I were.
While in hospital and out, I got several get-well wishes
and I’d like to note the senders here.
Firstly, my GoT/UFO pal Kevin Randle, and those who follow
his blog and commented “get better” wishes: my long-time buddy (whom I
sometimes antagonize), Paul Kimball, Zak and Eric, two readers of my blog and
Kevin’s, Brian Bell and Bryan Daum.
Nick Redfern, my closest UFO pal, left a public note at
Kevin’s blog and sent a few private missives. (He’s the best.)
The terrific Patrick Huyghe, for him and his Anomalist
gang, including Bill Murphy (who treats me better than anyone in ufology does), and
Chris Savia, who brightens my days with usable asides.
Private e-mails from Gene Steinberg, who has problems
greater than mine but took time to send me good wishes.
And lovable skeptic Lance Moody, erudite Joel Crook, my
Italian paisan ilfakiro (Santo), my psychological compatriot Tim Hebert, and
renewed friend Tony Bragalia.
Plus my academic buddy, Bryan Sentes, who saw this blog post.

If I missed anyone, forgive me. I’m still wacky from a
pneumonia shot a nurse gave me and I still have a spot of brain bleed,
apparently an ongoing thing with me that I’ve not noticed but would explain
(maybe) some of my wackier postings here. (Yah, that’s it.)
Anyway, the kindnesses and time taken to send me a note are
truly appreciated. I will not forget the uplifting words nor those who sent them.
RR
