Sad, sad news....Stan Friedman has passed

Rich Hoffman noted at Facebook today that the face of Ufology for decades, Stanton Friedman, passed away Monday, May 13, 2019.

Stan Friedman was, for many of us, the source and excitement about UFOs.

He was and remains the one person -- no matter what you thought of his many speculations -- who got the attention of news media and UFO enthusiasts everywhere.

He requested a free booklet I made about UFOs and offered to UFO Update regulars, sending the postage for my mailing.

He was a real gentleman, always, and will be missed not only by his family but by all of us who loved seeing him, on air or via the press, telling us that UFOs are interplanetary spacecraft.

May he rest in peace and in our minds as a good guy who truly dedicated himself to the UFO phenomenon, in a way like no other.
