Two books relevant to the UFO phenomenon

 
The History of book was reviewed by Andrew Scull -- one of my favorite writers of psychology -- in the TLS [Times Literary Supplement 9/30 issue Page 12] and I got copies for explication. They'll be here on Wednesday [10/26]. I expect to use them for commentary on some issues within the UFO contact arena, exampled by this, which appeared on Facebook the other day:

Are the "encountered" or, more specifically, the "abducted" delusional or actually troubled by an event that traumatizes them beyond what non-abductees can understand?

Are abductees -- "experiencers" -- crying for help as Darren seems to be in his online/social media out-cry?

This is a matter of interest to me (and others) and should be examined/discussed seriously....

That NASA UFO/UAP "study group" again

Google UFO Alerts for 10/24 had mostly refrains about the new NASA UFO study group. I listed one above as it had a few names of the 16 members. (I think John Greenewald's Black Vault has named the whole roster.)
