The Protracted UFO Mystery

The gang that visits here is mostly composed of men (and women) who take a normal stance when it comes to UFOs: the things are a long-time enigma that we all would like an answer to but we’re not willing to accept extreme views because we’re hyper-frustrated by the lack of anything definitive since before ever (1947, let’s say).
 
Ufology – that sobriquet that reeks of madness – is a compendium of almost every kind of imaginative (and goofy) thought when it comes to mysterious things seen in the sky (and sometimes on the ground or in the seas).

Fringers – those who make up the Ancient Alien coterie or the Abductee crowd – make up the extreme ends of the ufological pseudo-science.
 
In between lie the many UFO believers who accept the phenomenon for what it is: a quandary deserving of interest but not so much so that it disrupts our normal existence.
 
That’s the group here, pretty much.
 
No one here hopes to become a UFO notable; there is little reward in being a UFO biggie; the downside is greater than the upside.

So, focusing on a UFO solution is a game (for us), a hobby, as it were.
 
Let’s keep it that way.
 
This will allow us to remain stable and thoughtful, something that is currently missing in the UFO community, as I see in material and commentary elsewhere.
