WIRED magazine for July/August 2023 has two articles that
pertain to the current obsession with social media platforms: Podcasts and
Twitter and Twitter-like wannabes:
Podcasts Break Out of the Studio [Page 26] and
Building a
Platform Like Twitter is Not Difficult [Page 104]
The themes of both enumerate the desire to join, belong, or
create a following of people with the same interests – a social media kingdom.
The essence of the magazine articles is seen in this quote
on Page 8:
“We thought the internet could change society. Instead it
became society.”
But all the hem-hawing shows that the critical substrate and
concerns of today’s society are banal, life dealing with things superficial, at
best, and inane in its totality:
People’s lives, secrets, desires or Music or How things get
made or other minor exigencies of human existence, rarely something profound or
significant.
And hovering over all this mundane claptrap is the
possibility that co-existing with humanity, right now or since forever, is a
non-human reality whose existence indicates that humanity is not the rulers of
Earth or even the primary species on the planet, and never has been.
This comes from the possible revelations of David Grusch,
that (Tony Bragalia cites from a Coulthart interview --
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AVjzYwQDzeg&t=187s)
is autistic foolishness or an actual exposition of a hidden reality known by
segments of the United States military establishments, and held in absolute
secrecy for many, many years.
If a non-human species does exist and controls technology
and advanced phenomenal paraphernalia,
humanity is held hostage by that actuality and all the nonsense of podcasts and
social media are fairy dust atop the thing we call reality.
Not to suspect this may be true is foolishness of a dire
kind. To dismiss the possibility is a profound blindspot, one that, I’m afraid
my pals here and elsewhere, is the mind-set in place., irrationality of a
neurotic, ignorant kind.
