Tim Hebert's MUFON Report as our process would rework it

An example of what our Analytics program would do to a report like that which Tim analyzed and provided as an example of his approach. Here is his URL for his exquisite evaluation:

https://timhebert.blogspot.com/2015/01/an-analysis-of-recent-mufon-case.html

We are not interested in UFO sightings as such but in those encounter stories presented by Albert Rosales vast library of them, many also offered by Preston Dennett, and those illustrated by Jose Caravaca in his books.

But as an example of what our process would do to UFO stories, here is an "edited" copy of Tim's MUFON report as we'd cleanse it of extraneous materials for our purpose:

" my girlfriend and I witnessed an extremely bright hovering object, amber in color. a better view of it over the treetops and witnessed what looked like a triangular light pattern -- one very large, very bright amber light in the nose and a smaller flashing light on each wingtip and center which stayed illuminated but strobed brighter in order from left to right.. Because it was so far away we could not make out any structure. The large light was unlike anything we had seen in the sky before in terms of its size and brightness.

we saw the object again, hovering back close to its original position. It was much closer

The object was very close. I would compare it to watching a plane in take-off pass overhead in terms of its distances. it stopped hovering and began moving -- drifting might be a more fitting verb -- across the sky towards us. the object passed directly overhead. As it did we both witnessed the solid black outline of an equilateral diamond: a small white running light in the center and at each tip with an over-sized, amber-colored seemingly directional (forward to forward-down) light at its nose and a significantly dimmer light on its tail. The three lights from wingtip to wingtip constantly strobed in a right-to-left direction as it moved away from us. The object was silent as it passed over and disappeared

continue watching it but  it was nowhere in sight -- until we happened to catch the faint strobe of the object now a great distance away.We watched this object glide back and forth across the sky at a great distance --. her mother came outside to watch it pass at about 45 degrees above the horizon close enough to make out the triangular front of the object. We kept noticing that it seemed to pass in a straight line until we could not see it anymore and then begin its trajectory again from where it started -- but we never saw it fly back. We assumed that we simply missed its return path. Finally we watched one disappear into the distance and made sure to watch for its return. It never flew back. Suddenly it was once again close.  faint strobe of the object now a great distance away.We watched this object glide back and forth across the sky at a great distance -- -- for over an hour.

We tracked the object as it passed about 60 degrees above the horizon when suddenly we noticed a second, identical object flying towards us from a great distance. We continued watching these two objects pass back across the sky.

The total sighting lasted from 9:20pm to 10:45pm.

End of submitted report."

This is only the information needing analysis. Personal and unnecessary details emended.

We will highlight any information found in other accounts -- our encounter reports only -- which were like or similar to information in other non-related reports.

To include flight data, weather data, personal information, psychological information, and other details outside or peripheral to a supposed "alien: encounter is not what we propose to do.

Also, and importantly so, UFO sightings like that "edited" above have no purpose for our attempt to find credible, unusual (unique) similarities in, at least, enough reported tales to make a case for the reality of a strange encounter of a person or being who is not of our known reality.

Getting sidetracked by "data" and asides that do not attain to our purpose for this endeavor is not acceptable to the young computer wizards I've asked to do this.

A search for substantive information (not statistical data) inside UFO reports (tales and accounts)

Copyright 2023, InterAmerica, Inc.

Some of you know that InterAmerica provides psychological evaluations to news media about its staff and the public it serves.

Psychometric information is grist for evaluations of both the pro- viders and the recipients of information generated for them.

Our computer programming is geared for psychometric evaluations, but two of our fellows have implemented programming to separate out, information that forms analytic data apart from a psychological overlay.
Several of our computers have been so configured so that we can enter UFO reportage to determine if there are repetitive details of a unique kind among the few hundred cases we’ve selected from the vast collection of UFO accounts collected by Albert Rosales, Preston Dennett and, of course, José Caravaca, Caravaca’s information also containing episodes outside UFO lore but pertinent to encounters with “the other” of religious and paranormal literature.

What we’re looking for is not psychological evaluations of UFO witnesses or data.

We’re looking for analytical information that shows up in varying accounts, not connected by anything but its subject matter.

Data is a subset which factors into any evaluation of what was witnessed or experienced but is not the primary motivation for our search.

We’re looking for like or similar details that pertain to those encounters with entities or beings said or thought to be coming from somewhere other than this planets observable reality – not necessarily other planets in interstellar space.

For example, here is a fictional account of a UFO encounter and how our computer’s artificial intelligence programs would dissect it:

----------------

"We had several friends over for a cook out last Sunday, 1/22. [USELESS INFORMATION]

As we stood around, drinking beer and wine [PSYCHOMETRIC INFO], waiting for the steaks to grill. An orange-glowing disk [ANALYTICS] flew over and landed adjacent to our garden. [USELESS INFO]

From a hatch that opened [ANALYTICS], a short being emerged [ANALYTICS], wearing a green uniform.[ANALYTICS]

The being approached us, as we stood frozen in a kind of fear or awe. [PSYCHOMETRIC INFO

It seemed to mumble something [ANALYTICS] none of us understood [PSYCHOMETRIC INFO], sort of waved [ANALYTICS] and went back to its craft, entered the hatch [ANALYTICS], and when it closed, the disk rose to about 200 feet [DATA] and then shot from sight disappearing in about 5 seconds. [DATA]

We stood stunned and silent."[PSYCHOMETRICS]

-----------

The programming used would separate the analytics from the psychologically oriented material and set data apart in its own categorical listing.

What we hope to find are those similarities that resonate as unique and show up consistently in some credible UFO tales or incidents.

From that we might contemplate what is being authentically experienced by those witnesses not afflicted by hysterical or pathological mental straits.
