The indigenous human race from ancient time AND UFOs

My pal Nick Redfern has often touched on and written about the possibility of a “hidden” race of peoples who’ve cohabitated this planet with genus homo, us and all previous and current categories of human beings.
Nick and others refer to (deceased) Mac Tonnies’ ideas in
Cryptoterrestrials, Mac’s magnum opus:
Some of you know, from my Substack and blog pieces, that I’m proposing that the gods of myth were actually an odd group of human beings who were awed by “normal” humans, eventually given the sobriquets gods, divinities, deities, words from their fellow humans, not epithets they used themselves.
My idea works within the errant attributions of the Israelite peoples who adopted one of those “gods” – Yahweh – who I propose was an outlier from that god-group.
I won’t go into my “theological romp” here; I know many of you hate it.
(But let me say that UFOs could be related to my weird thesis.)
What I’m offering here is that the idea of an offshoot human creation is not exactly a side-bar in the UFO community. It keeps showing up in various configurations – see Bill Murphy’s Anomalist links.
There is a pushback (to my god thesis – I understand that; people hate to have their religion questioned in any way) – and there is pushback to the crypto-terrestrial idea, but Nick and I (and others like Paul Kimball) think Mac Tonnies was on to something.
And the UFO phenomenon does seem to have elements that allow for it to be inserted in a crypto environment.
To insist that free-thinking about such a possibility should be censored or mocked goes against the idea of creative, out-of-the-box imaginings, something sci-fi writers are lauded for, as have been others – and is loathed by me. To think, no matter how bizarre, is what blogs, podcasts, books, et cetera is what life should be about, yes?
