A couple of things

A congruence of quantum mechanics and the paranormal seems to be a current topic among physicists lately.
 
One of the discussed inserts is an old one: some persons seem likely to be paranormally connected – the old saw that some people are predisposed to see UFOs. That is, a few persons have a  nature that allows them to perceive UFOs or other denizens of the para- normal reality, more scientists accepting that reality than just a few years ago.
 
I came down hard on Jacques Vallee for his recent Trinity book, but a new interview I saw reconfirms his status as a bona fide UFO theorist. In the interview he mentioned microwave insertions within many UFO incidents and how microwave inflections have affected UFO witnesses – something that psychologist Michael Persinger has long advocated.

Vallee also reiterated his view that UFOs are unlikely ET craft but some other more interesting manifestation, that pertains to humanity particularly and importantly. He also showed a photo of a UFO that he claims is authentic, and one that may enthuse our pal Dominick here:

(Vallee also discussed his Doctor X witness from a 1968 UFO episode that left a mark on the Doctor and his infant son; a mark that indicated something extraordinary occurring, the account in one of his books.)
 
This leads me to a secondary consideration: the distance factor that disallows rampant or even sporadic ET visitations here.
 
The idea that an advanced extraterrestrial civilization or several are cavorting in Earth’s skies and seas seems more ludicrous to cosmologists than ever, the light-year distances so immense that such interplanetary travel becomes far-fetched.
 
Here’s my point, hidden in my introduction…
 
If ETs are not coming here – and I don’t think they are – and Earth has a vast number of unexplained activity, myths of “gods from the sky,” and super-human archaeological structures and pieces that seem non-human, what can we ascribe to such abnormal activity and material artifacts that don’t fit into our sense of human reality and history.
 
Is this lonely planet the one place, in the whole cosmos, that was or is scheduled to spread life throughout the Universe, and at whose direction?
 
There’d have to be a supreme entity directing such purpose, would there not be?
 
Are we the agents of this entity [God?] with our creation geared to doing His or Its work?
 
And to what ultimate purpose or plan?
 
Or are we the butt of a divine joke or game?
 
Something doesn’t smell right, or does it? Jacques Vallee and the great Teilhard de Chardin may both be on to something.
