My ex-pal Bryan Sentes

Just because I find Bryan Sentes' Skunkworks blog "cheesy, airy & puffy" -- wait, that's my favorite snack:

That shouldn't keep you from reading his ruminations; he's brilliant.

But I found him wrong about the 16th Century Nuremberg and Basel broadsheets and his adoration of Whitley Strieber too much to endure. (Also he misses the mark on Kant and Derrida, two of his favorite philosophers, also, mine.)

His slogging through the UFO community with his philosophical asides bothers me. Why would he indulge the great unwashed with his insights and intellectual acumen: he's casting pearls before swine.

Nonetheless, if you like a highly intelligent take on ufology, give Bryan some room in your online reading. He really is brilliant.
