An obscure UFO witness or obtuse sighting will explain everything

TLS (Times Literary Supplement) for April 5, 2019 had a piece about Josef Albers, a painter and noted pedagogue:

Albers and a few of his paintings:

Albers wanted to be a famous artist, but never really made it into the pantheon of the greats. As reviewer Perloff writes,  “… there is something limiting about these paintings – something makes us yearn for a larger vision or at least a particular emotional valence … these paintings may strike us as a bit bloodless, a bit thin …” [Page 13]

And recently PBS had a program about the origins of the telescope, pointing out that it was Hans Lippershey who actually invented the telescope and not Galileo, who is generally accounted as the inventor.

These two examples of persons at the edge of notoriety or fame never made it to the top of the famous pile, and there are many, many more who achieved accomplishments that were passed on to others or claimed by others; Tesla losing out to Edison is an example often cited.

My point here is that there is a UFO report or sighting that explains the phenomenon but that report or sighting has been edged out by one that has been grabbed by UFO buffs and exploited for various reasons, some innocent, some nefarious.

If we UFO fanatics can locate that hidden or obscure witness and sighting, we’d do everyone a favor.

But how do we do that? By a scrutiny of sightings submersed in the UFO lore that have gotten promoted or made public with the important sighting sitting at the edge of an epiphany, just outside the attention of everyone who looks through a glass darkly.

I hope to gather some ideas from a few of my UFO pals and those in media who are willing to look for and at UFO events or witnesses who have remained in the shadows of ufology, but which explains, finally, what the phenomenon is, or pretends to be.
