A Strange Silence

An Air Force 1st Sergeant who was an indirect member of the RRRGroup many years ago was an intimate (in a non-sexual sense) friend of mine.

When he graduated from high school, I wrote a character evaluation for his enlistment in the Air Force.

During his stint, I lost touch with him, about the time he was a member of the 10th Intelligence Squadron.

Recently I reconnected with him, via Facebook, and asked about his family and dad, who had a heart attack last year.

He filled me in, and when I replied, I made the offhand comment, “I’m glad to see that you are stationed at Wright Air Force Base, my favorite UFO air base.”

Nothing since.
